Remembering Noah

I wanted to take a minute today to share Noah's Story, for those of you who don't know it..

I really want to pass on Rachel's wish.. and ask that ALL of my readers help us give this family our help..

Here is what Rachel is asking..

"Here is what I need, I won't tell you why I need it but just know it's a little project of mine. Remembering Noah. I've talked about this with a few people, very few because I am trying to keep this hush, hush for now. J doesn't even know anything about this. Since Noah passed away, we've sent him balloons on just about every occasion. I've always attached our address and you wouldn't believe how many have been sent back to us with nice little notes attached telling us of how they found the balloons and how our thoughts about Noah (which were attached as well) brought them so much joy, sadness and happiness to be apart of it all. So, my bloggy friends I am asking you to join me in this. His third birthday is fastly approaching and I want to do something for him. It's not going to be grand, it's not going to be seen around the world, maybe in some parts of the world but I am not expecting greatness here. It's just something small that helps us all heal and something that will keep my mind off the heartache that comes with celebrating a day that I should have with him. It also keeps his memory alive which is what I want more than anything in this world. So, here is where you come in. I need a picture. A simple picture of you, your children or anything including Noah's name or of your children releasing balloons for him. I am thinking balloons because that is something special we have done since day one. Write his name on a balloon, color it, paste it. It doesn't matter. Or you can do something else, anything you can think of. If you could add where you are from some where on it, I would love that but you don't have to. E-mail it to me at RachelCoviak@aol.com and be a part of celebrating a little boy who is gone from this world way too soon."

That's simple enough, take a picture, make a sign, write Noah's name in the sand & send it to Rachel. It will take ONE minute out of your day,but these pictures will remind everyone of Noah for all of eternity.
Noah's memory deserves much more than that of course, but if everyone can contribute ONE picture from all over the world, just think of what an impact that will make for Noah's memory AND his family.

Hotel for Dogs

I recently got the chance to review Hotel For Dogs. I had seen previews, but of course, I don't get to go to the movies much!

It came personalized for us, with Echo right on the front cover! Too cute..

I popped it in when Andy asked for the "Doggy Movie" and wrapped up my dishes while listening to it in the other room..

I came in about 10 minutes into it to watch & plopped down on the couch.

As an avid dog lover, I could have just watched all the cute pooches!! I have to say, by the end of the movie, the kids we're running a'muck & I was glued to the couch watching this adorable movie!

And its all so true! I absolutely loved this movie!!! The dogs, the ideas, the inventions, the perfect ending.. It was a perfect family movie. Andy liked it because of the dogs, of course but I think as the boys get older, this will be a family favorite because you laugh, you worry & you might POSSIBLY even tear up a tiiinnyy bit. I cant be sure as sometimes my eyes just water.

Hotel for Dogs will be released on DVD & Blu Ray April 28th but one of you can win a copy of your own!!

I was younger, of course everyone bent over & hello ..there was their thong!! (Thus the Thong Song, anyone??) Really, at 18 or 19 it was probably "okay" in our heads but looking back as an adult.. It's just NEVER okay.

Small Talk Six

“6 animals (domestic, wild, or exotic) you think would be fun to own as pets.”

Okay.. I read the first one at Momdot & was like "Panda..dont they EAT YOU?!?!?!"

So I'm going to answer these as if the animals had absolutely NO chance of EVER snapping & attacking.. (((snort)) I really live in a dream world, dont I??

1-A sheepdog. Not too exciting, but I've always wanted one after my sister baby sat a teachers & I got to walk him & play with him as a kid =)

2- A bear..No wait.. they ate the Grizzly Man & HE was their FRIEND.. Okay ;-)
How about a ..... Mini Pony. I am obsessed with these little f-ers.. But THATS a post for another day!


3- A donkey. Just for the simple fact that I can say "No, I actually own that jackass!!!"





4- A cow. I dunno.. just always wanted one. Got bit bya cow once & my heart has been missing a lil sumthin ever since!




5- A monkey. No, not just any monkey.. I'm talking about one like the one on Passions, or Marcel from Friends . The type that would be my buddy & could make me Martinis.. I dont want the poo flinging type, but a martini making kind is a-ok with me!!!



Hm.. I have way more than 6 but...

6- Sugar Gliders. Mike & I had plans to adopt 2 tiny joeysiblings when they were ready to leave mom, but the weirdo took forever & we ended up getting a cat& moving cross country LOL It'dprobably a good thing as we ended up having kids & moving alot but..I really did love everything about those little guys & maybe someday I'll fill my empty nest with those nocturnal bugs!

2 Reasons I'm an awful Mom

1-There has never been ONE time that Andy has said "I SO crabby" that it doesnt make me LAUGH. Not chuckle under my breath but I flat out crack UP.

2- I totally bought Ryan a vaccum for his birthday. the kid loves them & it says it actually picks things up...so I was hopeful he'd start doing his part around the house!!

Why are YOU a *bad* mama???

PS- Yeah..you like the squirrel, don't pretend you don't!

Andy is going to pee himself...literally.

It's a REALLY good thing the boy is still in diapers, huh??

What is a first birthday( or ANY birthday) with out a fabulous treat?

Mrs.Prindables graciously sent us one of their best selling, delectable, drool worthy apples.

I have to say, the first thing I noticed was the absolutely beautiful presentation. It comes in a beautiful deep purple box, with their logo delicately printed on the side & a silky gold ribbon encasing the box.

Had I not known what was inside, I might have not wanted to open it!

This apple is HUGE. I kid you not, Mike & I just stared at it & said "..I wonder where they get these apples??" They are the biggest apple I've ever seen in my life, hands down.

We cracked into it last night for Ryans birthday, unfortunately ( for him) he just got a nibble of the apple, but check Andy out...

WOW. I am a chocoholic & this curbed by sweet tooth with 2 slices. The giant, juicy apple is coated in a perfect caramel, followed by THREE, yes, count them.. THREE types of chocolate. Mike doesnt typically like caramel but he said "I dont know what they use, but thats the best I've had.." And it is, Andy said "mmmmmmm" when I asked him what he thought!

The days of strawberry bouquets & chocolate fountains are over. Mrs Prindables will be our new housewarming gift, our party treat & our anniversary gifts for loved ones.
